Our Senior Learning Community is a place where students challenge themselves as learners and build a respect for the diversity of learners within their classroom through collaborative learning opportunities. The provision of 1:1 Apple Mac Airs develops students’ capacity as independent learners and thinkers of the twenty first century. Students become independent learners through ongoing goals setting and reflection on their progress. In preparation for their transition to Secondary School, students develop responsibility for themselves in the learning process through organisation and persistence in working towards achieving their goals. Learning opportunities for students to engage in real life intercultural experiences grow their awareness of key universal values such as peace, sustainability and upholding the rights and dignity of all people with the aim to develop global citizens.
